Governance:
The Institute is run through a committee structure which involves all members of academic staff and which is supported by its administrative team. There are three operational committees which are task focussed: Educational Committee, Research Committee and Postgraduate Research Committee. The chairs of these committees, with the Head of School, Deputy Head of School and Institute Manager, make up the Executive which takes a more strategic view of the Institute’s current and future running. There is also an Institute Staff Meeting. Committees meet monthly.
